Golf Fitness Evaluation
TPI, Titleist Performance Institute
At the DPGolf Academy, we believe physical fitness is a key ingredient for improving your game. Strength, flexibility, and balance influence your body’s ability to produce and repeat a consistent and effective swing. Small improvements can make a big difference in consistent ball contact & adding distance to your shots. Our certifiedTPI Fitness Instructor and TRX Suspension Instructors can help you learn how your body affects your ability to swing correctly and identify weak areas that may be affecting your swing.
TPI Golf Fitness Evaluation
We offer golf fitness screenings using the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) methods, and will design a custom program to help you gain more flexibility, range of motion and strengthen your core. First we measure your ability to generate and transfer speed and determine the most efficient energy transfer throughout your body. We then isolate physical limitations, correlate these findings to your swing technique and prescribe a custom-conditioning program for you.
By assessing a total picture of your body, swing, and equipment, our certified professional team will recommend a program that will seamlessly integrate into your existing instruction to help you optimize your performance.

Flexibility and Exercises for the Moe Norman ™ Single Plane Golf Swing
Fitness Instructor: Dave Predzin, PGA, CGFI
Your ability to achieve the correct body positions and motions is directly related to your flexibility, range of motion, strength and coordination. The Graves Golf Academy Flexibility and Exercise Video is the next step in advancing your ability to achieve the Moe Norman™ Single Plane Golf Swing.
This 90 minute video focuses on the components of fitness as they relate to the golf swing:
- Flexibility (aka Range of Motion)
- Coordination (aka Proper Sequencing)
Similar to the TPI screening process conducted during our TPI Fitness Evaluations, this video is designed to help you pinpoint weak physical areas or areas where you have limited range of motion that may need attention to improve your golf swing. The tests and recommended golf-specific exercises help you to improve your range of motion and build strength. Strengthening your body will strengthen your golf swing and improve your game.
